General Street Outreach

CAL-PEP does a variety of street outreach in the Bay Area. Outreach is integrated into many of our programs and services. Our objective in performing street outreach is to address communities of all varieties, to encourage the use of safer sex materials, to distribute safer sex materials and information, and to address the stigma attached to HIV/AIDS and STDs.

CAL-PEP performs outreach, prevention and education activities in streets and alleyways, in single-resident occupancy (SROs) hotels, homeless shelters, crack houses, drug recovery homes, in our mobile units, and at partner and collaboration agencies throughout the Bay Area. We encourage all individuals to bring their partners to be tested with us as well!
